Happy New Year to all our listeners! Cavan Community Radio is delighted to welcome some of its new broadcasters for 2012 who trained as part of the International Fund for Ireland funded training project which enabled community groups in Cavan to make their own radio programs. Swanlinbar Comhaltas, Yana Cancer support Belturbet, Macra Na Feirme and the Virginia Show Society all feature for the first time on this week’s podcast schedule on www.cavancommunityradio.org. Well done to you all.  Loreto student Megan Brady’s program “The Scoop” on all the goings on in world of entertainment, as well as sports and latest on the what’s effecting senior citizens in our communities and Lots more!

CCR has just received a new 100 day broadcasting license & is back on the airwaves
from July 14th 2011!

Tune your radios into 97.4FM from 2pm to 5pm every Thursday to hear our dedicated team of volunteer presenters covering local issues & talking with local voices! If you happen to miss the live radio broadcasts on a Thursday afternoon you can always catch the programs later by clicking onto the  LISTEN  page where you can replay and/or download all the progams from that day.
